Disco Steering Guard    by Dale Barr

I think these are the most current. I got lazy and split the file for the ISO and the flat plate for the laser cutters.

Only thing I ask for the use of using this is to please keep us updated on improvements made, for e.g. the holes to mount this to the bumper (Again, I got lazy.) Even if this is on piece of paper scanned and mailed, I can keep the CAD file up to date.

The side plates bolt to the inside of the chassis, long bit tapering to the back bolts to the steering box mounting holes (hence it bolts inside the chassis) on the chassis and the front bit bolts to the bumper mounts.

The guard is pretty strong. I can jack the front of the Disco on the bottom edge of the guard but it was only intended as a light guard for minimal protection. As you can see mine is a bit bent as I landed on it a bit harder than I ought to have.
